Mike Mueller is the founder and CEO of LeaseHawk. As a pioneer of innovation, his focus is to offer the multifamily industry powerful technology solutions. More than 25 years ago, he envisioned leveraging the telephone by calling 258-RENT to access apartment information. He was among the first to visualize how the Internet could change the way owners and managers marketed apartments and founded AllApartments.com, one of the industry’s first Apartment Listing Services (ILS). It is now under Move.com, a subsidiary of News Corp., a public company. This success led Mike to the creation of VaultWare, the industry’s first online apartment reservation system, which was acquired by MRI.
Mueller’s vision for innovation came full circle in 2012, when he founded LeaseHawk by acquiring a telephony platform from CallSource with the idea of creating better customer experiences for the multifamily industry. Now, LeaseHawk leverages state-of-art Google technologies and machine learning models that have scored millions of recorded multifamily phone calls. Additionally, LeaseHawk launched the industry’s first virtual leasing agent by leveraging speech recognition in January 2016. It offers an omni-channel experience powered by AI with voice, chat, and text to capture every apartment lead. Without the need of a human, LeaseHawk’s virtual leasing agent allows prospective residents to interact with apartment communities 24/7, based on their communication preferences. Under Mike’s leadership, LeaseHawk continues to be an innovator for the industry by consistently developing solutions that transform the way property owners and managers interact with their prospects and measure leasing performance.
Mike is recognized as a visionary leader and active contributor to the industry. He received the Inman Innovation Award, named one of the 12 Most Influential Executives by MultiHousing News and was selected as one of the top influencers in the industry by Multifamily Executive Magazine.
