This sounds simple, but we can’t tell you how many attendees aimlessly peruse the Expo floor. By making a plan of which vendors you’d like to learn more from, you’ll have more time to attend sessions, and for enjoying that cocktail during Opening Reception!

Schedule OPTECH Vendor Meetings in Advance

The Expo floor will be flooded with more than 1,000 attendees. It can be a challenge to get quality one-on-one time with vendors. Don’t be shy to contact vendors in advance. Let them know you’re interested and would like to stop by to learn more or see a demo in-person.

A great time to schedule a vendor meeting will be during “Quiet Hours” in the Expo. New to OPTECH this year, the Quiet Hours will take place on Tuesday, November 12 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

During this time, the Expo will remain open, but exhibitors are not required to remain in their booths, allowing them the opportunity to attend and network within the conference sessions taking place. Exhibitors who opt to remain in their booths may use this downtime to schedule meetings or longer demos, catch up on work, or simply take a break and relax.
